Intro to Brass

Grades: 3rd-5th

Explore the brass family: meet the trumpet, trombone, and French horn! In this class, we'll embark on an exciting journey to discover the unique sounds and characteristics of each member of the brass family. We’ll learn about how these instruments produce their sound through buzzing lips and clever valve work (or slides!). Get ready to explore the fundamentals of playing, from proper embouchure to your first notes, and unlock the potential to create brilliant music.
