The Youth String Ensemble invites grade school players of all levels to explore music’s history, from centuries of classical repertoire to modern folk, blues, jazz, rock, and pop. Open to violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists who can sight-read music, this course progresses chronologically through diverse genres using custom-tailored arrangements. Students will develop essential performance skills in a collaborative environment, culminating in a final concert.
