We are excited for the return of our beloved in-person Music Explorers Summer Camp this July!
As we begin to bid adieu to aspects of virtual life, ANMS is thrilled to celebrate the incredible creativity and dedication shown by our Virtual Music Explorers from the summer of 2020. The Virtual Music Explorers fearlessly charged ahead and created theater, learned instruments, and danced their hearts out with our professional teaching artists and councilors.

Recorder Fun Facts!
Did you know the Recorder is one of the oldest instruments in the entire world? Even cave people played a form of the recorder.
However, recorders were popularized WAY WAY back in the Baroque period (1600-1750). That is around 450 years ago.
Recorders are made in a range of sizes, from the small, higher-pitched soprano (HINT: you are playing a soprano recorder!) all the way to the low-pitched bass recorder.
