About

Leasia McKnight is a music therapist, educator, and singer songwriter, who aims to connect accessibility, creativity, and wellness through music.

They received their Bachelor's of Music in music therapy in 2024 and minor in psychology at Berklee college of music.

Leasia discovered her love of music through singing and learning to play instruments at a young age. In their home state of Washington, they completed specialized courses in songwriting as well as performance in choir, and musical theater.

Throughout their education they have provided adaptive lessons specializing in voice, ukulele, piano, and guitar.
After receiving their degree, they have established programming in youth centers, schools, memory care, and community spaces.

She hopes to guide others in connecting and transforming through music.
